Oat Milk Chai Pudding Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups oat milk
  • 2 chai tea bags
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg and ground cloves (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew the Chai Tea: Heat the oat milk in a saucepan until it is just about to simmer. Remove from heat, add the chai tea bags, and let steep for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let the milk cool slightly.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the chai-infused oat milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir well to combine.
  3. Refrigerate: Pour the mixture into a container, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Stir the mixture after the first 30 minutes to prevent the chia seeds from clumping.
  4. Serve: Once the pudding has set, give it a good stir and serve. You can top it with fresh fruit, nuts, or granola if desired.
